As an artist, I always strive for perfection. My pottery is made using non-toxic, lead-free clay and glazes. My glazes are durable and chemically stable. Therefore, they are food safe. Since they were made at very high temperatures, they are also oven safe. All pieces except those made from brown clay are microwave safe. Most pieces are also dishwasher safe, but this cannot be guaranteed. To be on the safe side, it is preferable to hand-wash them.

Should you discover a major flaw in an item you bought from me, I will replace it at no charge. You will still bear the cost of sending the item back to me. Since ceramic is fragile and does wear if used roughly, you should contact me within 14 days of purchase.

Examples for flaws that may be covered:

Glaze leaches off the piece upon contact with mild acid such as lemon juice or vinegar (happened to me once as a customer, but never as an artist!)

Glaze chips off under normal use

Some pre-existing structural flaw causes piece to spontaneously break when held, when filled with water, etc.

Water leaks through miniature holes or cracks

Please note, that replacements and refunds will only be made if you contact me first. Please do NOT send me pieces without prior warning. Monetary refund will NOT be given for sold items, unless they have a major flaw as detailed above.

At the Market and other sales events, I pack my sold items to go. Ceramic pieces are fragile and should be handled with care while traveling. Therefore, to-go packing is not guaranteed against any impact! When I ship a custom order, I pack the items inside sturdy boxes and insure the shipment.

If you inadvertently happen to break a piece I made, I am ready to offer a replacement at a returning-customer discount.

Finally, if you would like to replace a newly-bought item with some other item, please also contact me within 14 days.
