Looking Ahead to the Holidays - 1

Another schedule update, and a first glimpse of the holidays.

This weekend I’ll be at the Market Friday-Saturday, November 14-15.
Next week: Thursday-Friday, November 20-21.
Thanksgiving week: Friday-Saturday, November 28-29.

My December Market schedule after Thanksgiving is still not finalized - but will almost surely include Sundays, Dec. 7 and 14.

Meanwhile, in early December I participate in three holiday events around town:

1. Thursday, December 4, 5-8 PM. Holiday Sale at the Pottery School - I am a member of this studio, right in the Pioneer Square historical district. On that evening, all area galleries open late for the monthly First Thursday Art Walk. Location: Basement of the Occidental Park Building, 214 1st Avenue S, Seattle, WA 98104. Entrance from First Avenue.

1. Thursday, December 11, 3-7 PM. Thornton Creek Elementary Annual Winter Bazaar - This will be my fifth year straight at the bazaar! My eldest son just graduated from this wonderful school, and my second son is in fourth grade there. Make a difference while buying your holiday gifts: 20% of proceeds go directly to support school activities. Dinner and refreshments will be served by parent volunteers. Location: 7711 43rd Avenue NE, Seattle, WA 98115.

Friday, December 12, 5-8 PM (time not final). Cooperative Children’s Center’s First Annual Winter Bazaar - our third and youngest son goes to this parent-run cooperative childcare located at a church building in the University District. Here, too, 20% of proceeds go directly to support the Center. refreshments will be served by parent volunteers. Location: 4759 15th Avenue NE, Seattle, WA 98105 (SW corner of 15th Ave and 50th St., about 100 yards north of where it is marked on the online map).

As you can see, there is a variety of conveniently located options to meet me this holiday season. Looking forward to see you!

PS: I should also have some new Hanukkah lamps ready by then.
